Using Resources Responsibly
KYD Inc believes that saving the environment in the state of Hawaii is more than throwing away trash properly, using “green” products in our daily lives, driving an electric car, saving newspapers, bottles, or cans. Saving the environment is all of these things, in addition to being careful how any resource is used, whether in a traditional or modern way. We seek to use resources wisely, keep waste to a minimum, and are committed to the ideals of reducing, recycling, repurposing, and reusing.

Our manufacturing plant in Honolulu, HI, utilizes photovoltaic systems to generate electricity. We inventory environmentally friendly containers, bags, chemicals, food service ware, towels, tissues, napkins and more. We work closely with other manufacturers to create, design, and engineer new items with new materials.
