KYD Inc believes that saving the environment in the state of Hawaii is more than just properly disposing of trash, using “green” products in our daily lives, and driving an electric car; it also means saving newspapers, bottles, and cans. Saving the environment is all of these things, in addition to being careful about how any resource is used, whether in traditional or modern ways. We seek to use resources wisely, keep waste to a minimum, and are committed to the ideals of reducing, recycling, repurposing, and reusing.

Our manufacturing plant in Honolulu, HI, utilizes photovoltaic systems to generate electricity. We inventory environmentally friendly containers, bags, chemicals, food service ware, towels, tissues, napkins, and more. We work closely with other manufacturers to design, engineer, and create new items using new materials.
